Marjan grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and was born in Iran, graduating from UC Berkeley in 2000 with a B.A. in Economics.  Marjan discovered yoga at the age of 23 and has ever since immersed herself in its study and practice.  In May 2009 Marjan enrolled in YES Yoga teacher training program. Her teachers; Joyce Anue, Carol Knight and Rev. Sundari are among the divinely respected and devout yoga teachers.  With the help of our teachers we can yolk or yoga our way back to our authentic and pure nature. In June 2010, after completion of her mentor-ship program under West Valley’s Hatha Toga teacher, Carol Knight, Marjan received her 200 hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) in Hatha Yoga.
